Day 1 Cochin – Thekkady
Drive from Cochin to Thekkady. On arrival, check into your hotel and unwind. Explore the Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary, a protected tiger reserve set amidst lush evergreen forests and home to diverse flora and fauna. Enjoy the serene surroundings and relax for the evening. Overnight stay at Thekkady.
Day 2 Thekkady Sightseeing
After breakfast, embark on a guided tour of Thekkady. Take a boat ride on Periyar Lake, spotting wildlife in their natural habitat. Optional jeep safari and a visit to a spice plantation allow you to experience the region’s rich flora and aromatic spices. Couples can also enjoy an elephant ride through the lush landscapes. Return to the hotel for an overnight stay.
Day 3 Thekkady – Alleppey
After breakfast, check out and drive to Alleppey. Board a traditional houseboat for an overnight backwater cruise. Cruise through serene canals flanked by paddy fields, coconut groves, and quaint villages. Enjoy freshly prepared meals onboard as you soak in the scenic beauty. Overnight stay on the houseboat.
Day 4 Alleppey – Departure
After breakfast, check out from the houseboat and drive back to Cochin or your onward destination, concluding your romantic honeymoon with unforgettable memories.
